some stuff kind of suprised me when reading this:
first of all four SHSHL teams, that's impressive, considering it was dubbed as a "weaker league" then the others. Second, and I was wondering if Matt could answer this, why is Upper Dublin ranked 9th, when it appears maybe they deserved a higher rank? what made the committee make that decision as far as placement goes?

It was based on the fact that we all agreed that the 8 teams ahead of them are better.

UD has lost at least once to three teams ranked lower and only beat #10 Hershey by one goal.

I think that #9 is the exact right number for UD.

Interboro has not beaten Marple Newtown they tied and lost to them in ot. Take a look at the schedule Marple Newtown & Interboro play before making comments about a weak league. Not only do both teams play crossovers with the Central League they also crossover with Eastern AA teams.

Interboro beat a lot of good teams this year...Penncrest and Springfield are both in the Tourney. They beat Lower Merion. LM is good enough to make the AA tourney, they had other issues that kept them out (Sorry to bring that up again)

Don't forget that each league gets two automatic bids. Haverford High and Interboro were the EHSHL's automatics anyway.

March Edition will be out by the 12th...hopefully the 11th.

I try not to get into giving scouting reports on the message board.

I predict that Upper Dublin gets thumped in round one by Interboro.

Additionally, Matt, nice job with the seedings and dealing with the aftermath as it continues here. I think if I had to pick one team out who got shafted a bit in the seeding process it was #14 Marple. They're very comparable to #8 Interboro but they are separated by six slots. Additionally, Marple has tied and beaten Interboro in two matchups this season. No need to respond or justify Matt - just an observation is all.

I'll agree with coach k. And to answer your questions, I have seen both play. UD vs. Springfield twice, Wissahickon once.

UD may have a more talented player, but Interboro is the better TEAM and more battle tested. I'll take the battle tested, stronger TEAM everyday of the week.

UD should be thanking the man above for that seed. Their league and schedule were weak this year. I don't think that division deserves 4 teams in the Flyer's Cup.

Nothing against UD, they are having a nice year just an opinion.

To answer your question, Interboro, but I'd be surprised if it came down to a battle between the goalies.
