I don't know. All I know is that David's accident was on Roosevelt Blvd.

What happened with Newman, is he OK?

Dave was a great kid and this whole thing is very sad and unfortunate. I am glad that I got to know Dave over the past year as a hockey player, a well respected student in the school community, and a person. I recently watched the thanksgiving Judge/Roman game with Dave and he told me that he was playing on West Chester's practice squad as well as doing well in school. This whole thing is a shame and I am basically speechless about it.

We start back in school tomorrow, so when I get the info about Dave's funeral etc, I will post it on here.

Another '07 Judge grad was also killed in the car accident, but he is not the name mentioned above. His name was Joseph Spires. Apparently there was a 3rd person in the car but he is 26 and was in critical condition(according to nbc10.com).

Here is an article about the crash from the Inquirer.

O'Hara's Brian Newman was in a car accident a couple of days ago and was seriously injured. He is in the hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery but his season is over. Our prayers are offered for him to make a complete and healthy recovery.

Prayers go out to the Kapral family that the Lord watch over them in this time of unthinkable tragedy. God bless them.

A very bad week for the local hockey community. In addition to losing Dave a coach from Neshaminy passed away on Tuesday. Mike Carroll coached his son all the way thru the league. He was always a gentleman and the 1st to offer to help.

Here is the link to the Courier Times for Dave

This is Mike's link.

Please remember both families in these hard times.
