TITLE: Intern – Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation - Five {5} positions

REPORTS TO: Executive Director

DEPARTMENT: Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation

DURATION: Current Options – Part-Time & Full-Time Spring ’07 Semester

Primary responsibilities include all related tasks at rinks with the Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation including, but not limited to the Comcast-Spectacor Foundation, Flyers Charities, Philadelphia Phantoms Charities and associated functions at the Wachovia Complex and at other locations in the Philadelphia area.

QUALIFICATIONS:

College juniors, seniors, or graduate students working for earned credits. Applicant must be reliable and posses a general willingness to assume any and all jobs with an ability to work in a high profile environment. Candidates must have the ability to creatively and enthusiastically handle demands and work in a fast paced, high volume environment. Strong computer skills are needed. Hockey experience is important but not mandatory.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

1. Assist as an ESYHF coordinator for rink activities in the Philadelphia area

2. Assist in the preparation and coordination for all ESYHF events, and other events conducted by Comcast-Spectacor Foundation entities.

3. Attend meetings, assist with client requests, and conduct preliminary research.

4. Assist in the preparation and distribution of promotional materials.

5. Assist with the control & planning for merchandise and equipment inventory.

6. Assist with activities for potential ESYHF sponsors, contributors and partners.

7. Assist in developing and maintaining website, newsletter and related materials.

8. Occasional night/weekend duties and travel within Philadelphia area are required.

9. Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
