Very boring game, C.B. south outshot stoga, but Mazda played pretty well. Also with about 6 minutes left Stoga's best defenseman Warner got a double minor called and stoga killed it off. Both teams missed a bunch of goal opportunitiys.

It was Pennrdige 3, North Penn-1 going into the 3rd last i heard.

Boring? I thought it was an amazing edge of the seat game. #6 and #7 for CB are very good players and very dangerous and kept the game very exciting to the end.

I guess it was more exciting as a Stoga fan. There was alot of blown chances, the game was alot slower paced than both of the games last night. Not very physical and neither teams top players were very impressive, everyone just seemed blah.

Mazda did make some impressive saves though, he had a sweet glove towards the end of the 3rd with about 2 minutes to go.

In addition, 29 shots and a shutout in a semi final game is better than "playing pretty well", I thought he played really well..granted only maybe 8 of the 29 shots were really tough but that's always true; the glove save with 5 minutes to go saved the game. I agree both teams had their chances with pucks sitting on the doorstep but couldn't finish but you can attribute that to good defense as much as anything else. All in all, exciting down to the very end. Wanner's penalty ended up only a minor not a double but Stoga did have to kill off a tough 5-3.

I thought it said 4 minutes on the score board. Also what was with the icing call in the 1st. Stoga was short handed and iced the puck they called it iceing than the faceoff was back in their zone.

I have to agree with you on that. Not very physical and not as fast as I've seen but still exciting, probably more so as a Stoga fan.

They did put up 4 minutes and then there was a discussion and they set it back to 2 minutes. The refs said that they iced it before the CB player's penalty expired so even though it crossed the endline when they were short handed it was still icing. I'm not sure that's the rule but that is the call he made.

good luck to pennridge i'm pulling for you guys. north penn was a great team and a hard team to beat. Should be a good one
