Rustins defense is good, depends if their goalie plays good, and rustin can match the depth of east... if rustin holds east to 10 shots like they did against PV then it could be a long day for east fans... GO RUSTIN

I have no parochial interest in this one...congrats to which ever team wins. I don't think either team is markedly stronger than the other offensively or defensively. So, it should come down to momentum and goaltending. Rustin should have the exhileration of somewhat unexpectedly being there, in that few would have predicted that they would make the Final. East, on the other hand, is on a roll. So both should come in with high morale. If so, that leaves it to goaltending. Whoever limits rebounds, clears the puck, and can more effectively take over the net should tip the game. My guess is WC East. It should be one heck of a game! Both sets of fans will need to be controlled. Each have been known to pelt opposing goaltenders with coins during the second period when the teams switch ends. I wouldn't be surprised to see fan conduct draw the attention of the referees before it is over.
Snipe, you've lost me. What did I say that indicates that? I THINK I said that neither team was markedly better than the other, that each had a reason to feel momentum, and that goaltending might well tip the scale. The whole world has been talking about both teams' fans for days. How am I a sore loser?
hockey4life -- This forum has been rife with talk of the antics of Rustin and East fans for the last several days. The topic here is the up-coming game between Rustin and East. It has nothing to do with PV, I made no mention of PV, and, frankly, no one complained about PV fans on this forum a single time this season. Nor did I "complain" about the Rustin or East fans. I pointed out what should be obvious to anyone: that based on recent history cited on this forum and on my own observation, "I wouldn't be surprised to see fan conduct draw the attention of the referees...".
It should be a great game! And, if Rustin can maintain their momentum, I think it could be anybody's game. But, I give a slight edge to East. On the other hand, I thought PV could go all the way, so what do I know?
Im going to give the edge in play to Rustin, but it will come down to if Rustins goalie plays decent or bad, I think Rustin will probaly outshoot them around 35-20. Also if hot Donzetti could steal one on his own.
raha --- As I said at the top of the page, I agree that it could well come down to goaltending and who can keep the puck off the ice around the crease...make the save, cover or clear the rebound, control the net area. If it does, I would give the nod to East. Meaning no disrespect to the 'tending for Rustin. They're in the Finals, aren't they?
