It hard to play a championship game when the "refing" was so 1 sided. 11 penalties for Webster and 1(3rd period "token") for Warwick. it was apparent that Warwick was going to win this game no matter what.
Both teams had to play 3 games that day and it was going to be a battle but it is tough to play a good team so short handed the whole game..
Oh well ! The tournament was well run and thanks for the hospitality. Maybe we can get some of your teams to play a couple of Round Robin games up in WNY only 5 hrs. away
Hey, that Penn State Cat Call was pretty cool everytime they scored, did the announcer guy have that recording in his computer along with all of the tunes? Just wondering?

On the penalties... All of you penalties came after Warwick took a 2-0 maybe 3-0 lead then they scored on your first couple penalties to go up 4 or 5. Almost all of your penalties looked like they were out of frustration with almost all of them coming in the late 2nd and 3rd. Out of your penalties I though one player got 3 or 4 of them in one shot for a spear or something?

It looked like half the game was played even until you got down a bunch.

Just wondering, why would the refs care if Warwick won?

It just seemed that way. 11 penalties to 1 in the Championship game. Warwick was all over Webster, holding, interferance, etc., and Webster was battling short handed the whole game. The Red General Coach commented that it was the worst display of 1 sided "reffing" that he has seen.
...oh well it's done and over with. It was a great time and a great expierence playing teams other than from Canada and Buffalo.
Good luck to The Warwick Wildcats in Sarnia...OBTW, are you all taking off H.S.hockey for that tournament? If so good luck, you'll will come to find out that Canadians DO NOT like Americans, expecially when they are getting beat up by American teams...LOL

I thought that your cyclone team was one of the top two or three teams in Silver Sticks. I was just commenting that your team looked tired from the outset of the championship game.

Marathon Tournaments like these often comes down to what team is most rested and conditioned.

All is well after the opening DVHL 16u AA weekend. Hold on...Warwick 1 tied Quakers 2 by a score of 1-1. Am i seeing this correctly? This is the team that beat Ducks 1 on their way to win silver sticks right?
