ID1, Ducks1, and Warwick 1 are all playing 16AA

ID2 according to their website is the team playing AAA. Interesting

all of the “1” teams are strong – some tough matchups with these teams going head to head.

for the aaa bracket, the ice dogs 2 are a good fit for this bracket. rebels, niagara and ice dogs are aa teams, vfmm are the equivalent of a middle of the road aa team, gulls have their “2” team with mostly 93s entered, jrf are 93s, would not expect a strong washington team and not sure about westchester. should be good competition for the teams, but not high end 16aaa competition.

ice dogs vs ducks game was really fun to watch.

Ducks hit cross bar on an open neter late in the third.

Would have tied it up.

Dogs played well.

I'll pick Warwick and Jaguars to be in the semi's along with the Ducks. Hudson Valley or Bison will make up the four. I wouldn't be surprised to see Warwick win it all.

Nice call Snipe

Thanks txi,
Looks like they play out of WNYAHL. Another team (Niagara Eagles) form up there played in the AAA division and did well also. Must be some strong teams in that league.

Webster is a Rochester, N.Y. Sub. that's located on the shores of Lake Ontario.
1-Can someone tell me why The Zambonies didn't "cut" the ice in between games? All they did was flood the ice. With all of those games played this weekend it doesn't make any sense not to cut the ice.

I thought the Quakers 1 could possibly be the darkhorse of the DVHL this year but after the showing at silver sticks and the 5-0 loss to the ducks at pepsi...maybe not. Although they did beat the cyclones. My choice now is the jr royals if they can use what lack of skill and experience they have. I didn't see the ducks play during silver stick weekend but what happened??? I saw the game against the Quakers a couple weeks ago and they dominated

ouch harsh comment on the royals there. Lack of skill and experience?

And im going to have to disagree with warwick being fast.

Harsh? I picked them as the team that comes out of nowhere. Don't get me wrong, they are coached very well, have good speed, intensity, passing. And the skill is there...just not at the level as some other AA teams with the exception of a few players. If I remember correctly their second line was all 93's with at least one that played bantam A last year. That and a semi shaky blue line rounds out my experience comment. But all in all a completely different team come december. Watch out

on another subject, i still believe the ducks are the team to beat. After their display at silver sticks i think they will come out even harder in the upcoming weeks.

No disrespect but isn't that kind of a given? Either way, ducks1 play quakers1 ice dogs1 and warwick early in the season. All rematches from preseason play. We'll see what they're made of.

I didn't see the Ducks/Ice Dogs game but the Ducks/Warwick game seemed very sloppy. Warwick took advantage of some Ducks mistakes early but nobody could score in the second and third periods. The game never picked up a good flow.
