thats not the opinion shared by all at 18aa last season. if you were in weaker division, all is cool. but if you were in stronger division, it was not fair.

Warwick 1
Quakers 1
Cap City
Hershey
York

East
Ducks 1
ID 1
ID2
ID3
Warwick 2
Kings
Hawks
Blazers
Quakers 2

Since we have already crowned the champs before anybody has played these divsions should not matter. All in all the better teams from each division should match up nicely in their crossover games.

These divisions are not correct. I know for a fact the three ID teams are not in the same division. ID1 and 3 are in one Division and ID2 is in the other division. I will post the correct divisions later.

TXI-This is correct...My bad I forgot Delco and they ommitted a team on my schedule. Cut me some slack some of these teams have never been AA at this level and that is throwing me for a loss.

joehockey,
do you work for a news agency…you take things out of context. your bud jon93 wanted a projection and I obliged.

divisions do matter for dvhl playoff participation but also divisions do not matter because the best team will advance in districts to nationals and it wont be any of the bubble teams that didnt make the playoffs due to strength or weakness of one of the divisions.

Actually I do not work for a news agency, I am a full time youth hockey parent.

All I did was list the divisions, so if you are offended by a subtle not even funny joke about divisions I have to apologize. Where was the problem?

I fully understand why they matter and I am sorry you are so sensitive.

I think the teams that played AA last year will do very well and I think the A teams moving up are a crap shoot becuase it is impossible to tell.

I am going to take the easy way out and reserve comment until after Silver Sticks because from now until then many of these teams will play each other in NL games. I think it should be a very interesting year. I do however think they did the divsions as good as they could be and I am assuming it was done by accident because it looks like it wasa geography with Warwick 1, ID2, and Quakers 1 being the three that lost the coin toss to drive out west five times.

Walk away? They easily are in the toughest division of teams (their round robin) and a lot can happen in this tournament. Not to take anything away from them but the last tournament was mostly teams from DC/Maryland and a bunch of teams that played A last year.

That being said they are very good, but they have to play games. I am pretty sure they will have a fight on their hands to get through 24 teams. We will see come Friday.

I'll pick Warwick and Jaguars to be in the semi's along with the Ducks. Hudson Valley or Bison will make up the four. I wouldn't be surprised to see Warwick win it all.
