Hello All,

This summer I am coaching in the "One Hockey"
tournament whose flyer can be found below. I
am trying to get the word out to as many girls
teams as possible and thought maybe this message
board might be able to help. The tournament
goes by the '07-08 season, so 1993's are eligible
to play 14U. Our tryouts will be held on Sat.,
April 19 in Aston, PA, on rink 4, at 2 P.M. for
the 12U. What I need is to get as many girls as
possible to register for the tryouts by Feb. 15,
and as many teams to register for the tournament
by that same date. Below is a registration link
for the 12U team and my e-mail address for the
14u team. Teams can join as a full squad, or
players can tryout for my team. All of the
information can be found below. This is not a
recruiting tool, as teams can sign up all as one,
or players can sign up individually, and I will
only be coaching a 10U girls team next year.
Thank you very much!

Brian Cleary

World wide LIVE games! Every game LIVE ON THE INTERNET this year again
(By Web Casting)

My son Cameron will back in 2008. He can't wait! He told me that every game he plays here in Michigan is to prepare for OneHockey. MY job is to organize event and coordinate. I must say that I don't know how you did it, but it was a huge success - Jeff Ashley, Michigan

Ukraine Coach speaks up
I have travelled all over the world with my program and have never seen such great competition. - Yvan Provilov, Ukraine

In June 2004 Team OneHockey began with 6 teams and we never stopped looking back growing to 90 teams and 6 countries in 2007. We expect over 12 countries in 2008. The following countries have been in contact with us regarding next year's tournament!

The Team OneHockey program has proven to be a great experience for the players who; are surrounded by top talent, meet new friends, exposure to new ideas, receive instruction from new coaches by teaching and demonstrating new tips related to on and off-ice hockey training.

Each State, Province or Country is assigned a custom uniform!

2007 Returning Champs will get to wear a special uniform in 08 and go for the repeat! They better come prepare as the level immensely increases each and every year! Sebastien Fortier, President

All right, Sebastien got back to me and so did the Atlantic District (see below), For the 12U team, please use this link, but only if you are not on a MAWHA team, except for the Quakers, for the 2007-'08 year. If you are on any other MAWHA team, such as the Lady Patriots, Princeton, N.J. Colonials, Rockets, etc., please wait until 6 P.M. on April 8th to register.

www.onehockey.com/rsmreg/registration/indReg1.cfm?/leag...OneHockey®ID=1268

Then, follow the directions, choosing Team Pennsylvania and 12U.

For the 14U team, or to register an entire team at either level, please contact me directly at clearybakk@hotmail.com.

Thanks for your patience.

Brian

I have just been informed that because I coach for the Quakers, I can only register players who either do not play for a MAWHA organization, or who already play for the Quakers. This rule will soon be found on the Atlantic District website and will state that any summer tournament team will have to wait 48 hours after Nationals to register players. At the tryouts, I will also need a letter of permission from the players organization, stating that it all right for said player to play in the tournament. There will also be a copy of this form letter on the Atlantic District website. So, if your daughter plays MAWHA for anyone other than the Quakers, please wait until 6 P.M. on April 8 before signing up for the tryout. Teams are still welcome to join the tournament, if anyone knows of a team that is interested, please contact me at clearybakk@hotmail.com. Thank you!

I just received the following from One Hockey:

-----------------------------------------------
We have made the decision to cancel the Girls U12 division this year. If you have girls that would like to participate in the tournament this summer and can compete at a very high level, you can invite any 1995 or 1996 players and they can play with the boys one birth year down (i.e., 95 can play on 96 and 96 can play on 97). If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Thank you,

Mary Gilliland
------------------------------------------------

Thank you to all who signed up for, or showed interest in, my team. I hope to be coaching both a 12U and 14U team next year. Please contact me at clearybakk@hotmail.com, if you are interested in the 14U team this year.
