Wow.. High School practice more important than a chance at Nationals and the exposure it brings the kids.

Colonials only came with 12 skaters and 2 goalies for the whole tournament. VFMM were leading 1-0 after ist and 4-1 after 2nd. Great game by all the boys and good luck in nationals.

vfmm controlled this game throughout. the colonials had their full roster and despite some excellent individual talent were beaten by the better team. as for the number of players left at the end of the game, the colonials were down two boys who were ejected. one was given a game and possibly match penalty for kicking an opponent. will be interested to see if the resulting suspension will carry over to his nj state playoffs. if anyone has any insight on this matter let me know.

Probably wont effect NJ high school playoffs. They dont use USA Hockey rules, they have their own rule book. The 5 Delbarton kids on the Colonials were probably not allowed to play by the Delbarton coach.

The player was given a 5min major and game for kicking - no match penalty. The other player was given a 10min misc with a couple mins left, that's why he left the ice.
