I see they're challenging themselves, but okay, let's have Haverford play the Flyers 5 times over Xmas. Regardless, we've scored 30 goals in 4 games, and potentially knocked two teams outta the hunt (Ducks and Warwick). Hershey, on the other hand, has been losing/tying teams the Hawks have been beating.
Like I said though, none of it matters if Hershey beats us in January.
And you did ask me which team I thought would be out, so I'm a kinda confused as to why you'd then challenge my opinion, unless you wanted my answer to be "Haverford."

I honestly think that Hershey is going to get spanked playing up there and will prob. not help them in the long run, Honeybaked is always one of the top teams in the nation. This could only hurt them because if they do well up there than they will come back thinking everybody else is a push over and will lose
With the talent that the Hawks i dont think they lived up to there potential, you have three lines that are stacked. How are you guys not tearing through this league?

We play down a lot. We've beaten some of the best teams but have tied some of the worst. We get up for big games and everyone plays well, but against Lancaster, we came out completely flat and gave up 3 goals in the first. We battled back and finished the game 5-5, but it just goes to show that...yea, we should be doing a lot better.

this year, i do not think they would, I think the Hawks, the Quakers and York would give them a run for their money, not nearly as much talent compared to past years
The Jr Flyers are not that good this year, at least not as good as they have been the last 3 or 4 years. The Minutemen and Colonials are better teams right now. Makes a huge difference when you dont have Brian O'Neill or Tim McGarry anymore.
In a 1 game series, its definitely possible for the AA midget major teams to beat the AAA teams, but in a 3-5 game series, I'd take the Jr Flyers, VFMM and NJ Colonials over any AA team.
Getting back to DVHL, my understanding is the district teams come from the top two teams from each divisions (18AA East/18AA west), which would mean pretty much Hershey and the Blast are in, and that the odd man out would be between Quakers 1, York, and Haverford. Someone might want to verify that.
And how is it that YORK is in the EAST and the Ducks1 are in the WEST. The league should have just left the 18AA teams all in one division like they did the teams in the 18A division. Each team would then have played each other twice meaning 30 league games to determine the top 4 for districts.
Good game, with York controlling the first and Hawks pretty much dominating the second and third. Final shots were close, 28-25 in favor of Hawks I believe. York goalie made 2-3 great saves in the third to keep the game tied and Hazelton stopped a breakaway with less than a minute left to preserve the tie for Haverford.
Hawks now stand at 11-2-4: 26 pts in second place. York is 9-1-2: 20 pts in sixth place.
