Hawks went 4-1 in Silver Sticks this weekend. 3-0 in Round Robin (placing 3rd) and then beating the Warwick Wildcats 3-2 in OT to advance to semi finals against Tonawanda Lightning.
We (the Hawks) came from behind and beat the Lightning 5-3 in the first game of the tournament, but lost in the semi finals 2-1.
I think we had... 19 goals for, 8 against. Slagis was absent from the tournament due to a head injury and Matt Green (Spingfield) was out due to a foot injury.
Overall, it was a good tourny. 3/22 isn't so bad, though of course we would have liked to have gone further.
Quakers went 2-1 in RR, slipped in due to goal differential but were bounced in quarter finals by the Hollydell Hurricanes, who then went on to beat the Hershey Jr. Bears, setting up a final with Tonawanda today at 5 PM.
EDIT: The Hollydell Hurricanes are the 2007 Philadelphia Regional Silver Sticks Champions.. definitely a huge surprise.

It is pretty competitive, a few teams should have stayed in the A division, but there are quite a few strong teams within the DVHL. In Jersey, the Flyers Youth and Jags seem to be at the top
I hope so, its too early to say what is going to happen. We have a legit chance because of the talent we have and the teams we have beaten. I think it will come down to us vs. the Quakers and prob. the York or Hershey game. We did beat the Jags however 5-2 @ home
Currently there are roughly 6 teams in the playoff hunt in the DVHL which is pretty impressive this late in the season, December and January may determine top 4
Right now there are 7 teams pretty bunched together fighting for the 4 spots for districts; the Quakers, Bethlehem Blast, Hershey, Haverford, Ice Dogs, Ducks, and York.
Hawks skated against the Ducks this weekend in a league game at the Pond, a rematch from the preseason tournaments. Hawks won 5-2, Tinkoff and myself were in net. Shots were 29-25, in favor of the Hawks.
Real high tempo game. Brian Geiger of Caroll made it 3-2 Hawks with about 6 minutes left in the third, Haeberele scored shorthanded to make it 4-2 with about 4 minutes left. Jimmy Hazelton put an empty netter in to finish the game off with about 30 seconds.
Ducks may, not for certain, be outta the hunt for Districts. They've got a few too many losses now, but a pretty easy schedule the rest of the way so...

I also play for the Hawks and the way things seem to be going it could end up being Hershey or the Blast, but the Blast have an easy schedule the rest of the way so its a toss up
It's really a tough call. All the top teams still play each other at least once, even twice before the season ends.
Right now though, Hershey seems to be running out of steam. They started out 9-0, but their last few games:
5-1 W vs Wissahickon (Hawks won 8-0) 1-2 L vs Quakers 1 (Hawks tied 2-2) 0-2 L vs Blast (Hawks won 3-1) 3-3 T vs Ducks 1 (Hawks won 5-2) 5-0 W vs Quakers 2 (Hawks won 8-0)
Looking ahead, Hershey still has to play Blast, Hawks, York, and Ducks.
They've got a tough schedule, and have been struggling, but are still 11-2-1 (as of 12/23). It's really too close to call, but if I had to pick someone, it'd be Hershey. A lot rides on our game vs them sometime in January.
