Hershey looked lost last night when they were not getting all the calls thier way. Flyers Youth looked to struggle a little and the Quakers played well seeing as most of those kids are also playing in school playoffs now aswell.
It's interesting that many posts on this subject suggest that the Jersey teams aren't strong this year. Most of the kids playing were also in last year's 16AA playoffs which produced an all-Jersey final.
This is far from over but if I had to predict a finals pairing it would be Jags/Eagles...both teams are loaded.
Hershey had no idea what to do last night, they actually played more than 70% of the game 5-5, they aren't used to that....I was at the game and causing trouble, the only way Hershey scored was on the PP, no suprise there....I am telling you right now, had we not shot ourselves in the foot, we (Hawks) would have rolled through Districts, its a should coulda woulda type of thing isn't it?
I agree with Snipe, I'm sure you have a very nice team and all, but to make the comment that'd you'd roll threw districts when you didn't even roll threw your own league is kinda presumptuous. I'm sure you would have been competitive and possibly had the chance to win districts, but you didn't even get in. And I know you'll probably just blame how everything was scheduled, but that's just an excuse on why you didn't get the job done. When in fact your team just didn't get the job done. Can't blame the league for not winning the games you needed to win.
Most of the Eagles play for CBA. The Jags are a mixture of many St. Augustine players and much of the offensive production from last year's Jr Phantoms 16AA, who also play for Shawnee.
Did either of you read what I said, "If we didn't shoot ourselves in the foot.....it was our fault we didn't get it, we did not get it done, but we beat or tied every team in districts except for Hershey which was a bunch of B.S
