My Hawks 18AA team looks very strong even though we do not have tryouts until the first weekend of June there are some good players coming back and we picked up two guys...We have Chris Campli, and Ben Slagis coming to the team. Also, Jim Hazelton and Mike Walsh are going local so they will be back as well as Ted Caratenudo. From this and the others including myslef who are still in high school we will all just add to the talent with Haberle and D'Urbano
Heard Delaware and Haverford played twice in the Delaware preseason tournament with the first game ending in a 3-3 tie and Delaware winning the second game 2-1 in OT. Realize this was just preseason but still somewhat surprising. The scores seem to suggest the two teams match up pretty well...anyone who saw the games have any thoughts?
I watched some of those games, the Flyers looked very strong. Haverford dominated Delaware in both games, they were much faster then most of the teams. The Delaware goalie played out of his mind. I think he faced at least 50 shots or more. I would have like to have seen Haverford play the Flyers but it didn't happen. Most of the teams looked competitive, it was fun to watch and should be a fun season.

The Ducks ended up in the championship of that tournament losing to Flyers Youth 4-3. It was an excellent pre-season tournament with some good teams and some very competitive games. Just as an FYI, Silver Sticks Tournament at Iceline the weekend of 9/14 thru 9/16 for 18AA; always a good tournament.
Forgot to ask, Does anybody know why there is no AAA Midget Major Silver Sticks this year? I noticed they have the AA Major at Ice Line but I didn't see anything for AAA?
