What is wrong with them? Generally when someone says something is "horrible," they have at least one reason to explain why they think so.

I'm not trying to be rude, but I personally like them. And compared to some of the other fuglies I've seen so far, the Flyers did pretty well. Have you seen some of the other ones?

Those are all official too.

Yea, the reception seemed okay on the Flyers message boards. Most people were pretty happy with them but a few were pretty disgusted as well.

Now the reaction to the Canucks new jerseys over on their message boards was quite different, almost everyone hated them, haha.

I really don't expect that with these though, and I'm still curious to know why you dislike them so much.

I think the new Flyers jersey looks like one of those old style half sleeve baseball T-shirts. The problem I feel is that all of the jerseys are going to this new form fitting style, which I think look bad (that's bad in a bad way!). What is the NHL thinking about when they think that by going form fitting, they will make their athletes look more sleek? They'll still be wearing bulky ass hockey pants! Next, these geniuses are going to have them wearing football pants as well. WOOO HOOO!

The whole reason to keep changing styles in the first place is so that we the fans keep shelling out more dollars buying the replica's for ourselves and our kids. When we stop buying the new jersey's every time they change them, then they will stop changing them! But that will never happen because we the public HAVE to have to most updated version of our favorite teams uniform...otherwise someone might not think we are a true fan. Roll Eyes

Now that they have a billion dollar payroll I guess we can expect the old "Cooper Alls" to make a come back?

Snyder will make a package deal, You get both the retro jersey and the hockey slacks for $300.

I won't buy anything. . . Hell, I still have my Rick MacLeish jersey from the Bullies era. I'm waiting for that to come back into style Big Grin

A league wide jersey change.. with multiple teams changing logos (Tampa, Ottawa, Vancouver, Bruins, Blue Jackets, and Sharks) is pretty much unheard of in professional sports.

Check out that guide I posted a few up for new Calgary and Canadians uniforms revealed today (Sept 4) and the new Penguins (Sept 5).

Now Im confused. The Columbus Blue Jackets, Blue Jackets meaning some sort of bee or wasp or 'Blue Jackets' as in the term for Union soliders during the Civil War? There new jersey have nothing to do with an insect so I'm thinking its the ladder...

I saw the Flyers sweaters yesterday in person and they're really not that awful.

Sure they look a little like the ice girls shirts, but hey, whatever.
